GOOGLE'S SMART WATCHES

Google with its new smart-watch operating system, Android Wear, shrinks the smart-phone experience down to a tiny wrist-sized computer that constantly notifies you with every single notification from the apps stored on your phone. Google’s annual developer conference – Google I/O – begins on Wednesday evening UK time – and outlook is high for a new version of Android, a fresh assault on TV, and a focus on wearables and fitness.
Google has by now dyed-in-the-wool that it will show the next version of its Android software during the crucial note, while strong guesswork suggests there will also be a new activity-tracking platform called Google Fit and a new move into connected TV called Android TV, possibly with a set-top box to show it off.
But this being Google, there are plenty of other areas of its commerce that may get the limelight: Glass, YouTube music, Project Ara, Google Fiber, and Project Loon. Here are a few predictions on what's likely to be talked about on-stage

One of the reasons for Android’s popularity is its flexibility and the ability to install all kinds of apps and software mods to it. Now, there are tons of apps that do everything from helping you manage your time to reading news, but there are some more apps that let you do interesting things on your phone. Tasker is probably at the top of this and is considered to be one of the world’s top Android apps.
The user interface itself is simple and is nowhere as fancy as some of the apps in the store. It’s made up of three tabs, an add button and a Tasker on/off switch. Typically, this app runs in the background at all times, but it doesn’t slow down the phone at all. The user interface is designed purely to be functional. The way you use it is that you add either profiles, tasks or scenes. All in all, after using it for half an hour or so, it’s easy to figure the way around.

Features and usability
iPhone users might have Siri to talk to, but Android users don’t need personal assistants not if you’re using Tasker. Think of Tasker as the brain that keeps a close eye on all the sensors and happenings, reacts to them and performs tasks accordingly. While this seems like just another app with nothing special, the possibilities are endless.
Tasks are usually the reactions to a particular scene. For example, you can set it up to automatically turn the phone to silent every time you keep the phone facing down. You can even toggle Wi-Fi by shaking the phone. And these are just some of the simplest examples.
Tasker can monitor things like the orientation of the phone, the proximity sensor, signal strengths, light levels and many many more. Similarly, it can also monitor notifications from apps, including third party ones. There’s also a Scenes feature that lets you create your own interface with icons and menus that you can interact with. To check out the entire list of events that can be triggered to do tasks.

The possibilities are endless, but there’s a learning curve to it. You have to be the kind of person who likes to play around the combinations and variations to come up with some really complex automated solutions. Now, if you aren’t into this kind of thing, or you’re just learning the ropes, there are a bunch of readymade Tasker scripts available for download. Downloading them and using them takes just a minute. There are also plenty of tutorials and documentation available on the site too. If you want, you can even back up your data and restore to other phones when you clear your OS or flash a new ROM.

Free Download Advanced Task Killer Pro V. 1.9.7B102 apk

Advanced Task Killer Pro V. 1.9.7B102 apk
System Requirements: 1.6 and up

How often do you reboot your phone? Once a week? Once a month? You might be surprised at just how many active, running apps pile up on your phone between reboots. That’s where Advanced Task Killer Pro comes in. This app provides a number of options for managing which apps are, and aren’t allowed to run freely on your phone.

Upon opening the app, you’ll be presented with a list of apps that are currently running. Each app with a check mark next to it will be shut down when you hit the “Kill selected apps” button. Upon digging further into the settings, you’ll discover that the app can also kill other apps at set intervals for you, and you can set a list of apps for Advanced Task Killer Pro to ignore. The app even includes security features to ensure you’re not automatically killing any important processes each time the app automatically frees up RAM on your phone.
As a nice added touch, Advanced Task Killer Pro includes a widget that can be used to automatically kill apps on the fly. Just tap the icon the widget places on your home screen, and all apps that aren’t on the ignore list will be killed instantly.
So, is Advanced Task Killer Pro worth installing? That really depends on which version of the Android OS you’re running. Version 2.2+ of the OS includes many of the features present in this app, making it easy to manage your apps. Versions 2.1 and before lack any sort of robust app management, making Advanced Task Killer Pro a must-own app. And hey, even Android 2.2+ doesn’t contain ALL the features offered by this app. In short, if you find your phone slowing down due to an excess of active apps, Advanced Task Killer Pro is a must-own.
